Nicklass Mbaga (Born in 27th March 1994) is a Tanzanian director, cinematographer and photographer. He was raised in Dodoma where he also attended his primary and secondary school. His journey to his dream career started in 2008 when he started designing logos and graphics for himself which later brought the fun intobusiness as he decided to design logos for T-shirts and sold them.
In 2012, he was employed as a photographer and editor at Dodoma Classic Photo Lab, one of the biggest photo studios in his Dodoma. On his personal time he directed few videos for different artists and this led to his video making knowledge and experience, it’s in this year he officially started his directing career. He worked for 9 months and moved to Iringa in October 2012 for college.
Since 2013, he has directed more than 10 videos for different artists including the hit song “Nishauri” perfomed by Mabeste, “Barua Kwa Diamond” performed by Meda, “Hi Haters” performed by Reuben Jr. and “Real Love” performed by Ibrah and which were received well by the audience.His uniqueness in ideas, directing, shooting and editing makes him one of the most promising directors in the industry.As a photographer he worked as an official photographer for Member of Parliament for Iringa Urban Constituency, Mr. Msigwa Simon Peter in 2014 and as fashion photographer at Malkia Collection clothing line from 2013-2014.
He is currently living in Iringa where he is persuing Information and Technology studies and running his own company IMAGE NATION, a photography and videography company.
